Trouble with audio again made for a brief, 50 seconds of audible update in today’s dispatch, which begins with “some very good news” that the upstream portion of the Horton broke up.

Yeah, Will here. This is on May 28th, day 56 on the Horton River. Some very good news today. Starting last night, the entire river upstream, I think, broke up. Massive amount of ice. This little ice dam above my camp is just a little nothing. But tons of ice. I mean, just amazing amounts of ice have come down. And there must have been a huge dam that broke upstream somewhere. Because around noon, within two hours, the river went up [...] I mean, that's vertical feet. And then the amount of ice that cam down was incredible. Just shore to shore, thick ice. And then the [...] break up.
